FY2026 Key Initiative | "In a Wheelchair? No Problem!" Heavy Equipment Experience Event Held

On May 10, 2026, Kita-Osaka Training Center hosted a heavy equipment experience event using remote-control technology. A total of 70 participants gathered — including 30 wheelchair users — and every one of them experienced a shift in mindset from "I can't" to "I can." Attendance continues to grow with each event.

Tilt Rotator Trial Experience Event Held

Kita-Osaka Training Center hosted a backhoe trial experience event using remote-control technology. Participants — including wheelchair users — demonstrated that heavy machinery can be operated without boarding the vehicle, generating valuable feedback that will inform future safety standards and training programs.

FY2025 Key Initiatives Launched

SPAT has launched two FY2025 key initiatives: "Tilt Rotator Safety & Standardization" and "Certification & Employment Support for People with Physical Disabilities." We are actively working to improve safety across the construction industry and expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
